Sartorius will bolster its downstream offering by adding hollow‑fiber membrane manufacturer WaterSep BioSeparations. The Form 483 is a further blow to the potential approval of Bristol-Myers Squibb’s lymphoma CAR-T candidate liso-cel, made at the Bothell, Washington facility. MilliporeSigma has expedited planned capacity expansions at sites in Massachusetts and New Hampshire after seeing a surge in demand for bioprocess equipment from coronavirus therapy and vaccine developers. Atbtherapeutics has struck a deal with CDMO iBio for the manufacture and scale-up of its ‘atbody’ candidates using its plant-based expressions system.
