Viral vaccines are usually produced by anchorage-dependent cell lines. At industrial scale, these cells are either cultivated in static mode on multiplate systems (Roller bottles, Cell Factories, Cell Cube, etc.) or on suspended micro-carriers (porous or non-porous) in in bioreactors.
