This column is specifically designed for the rapid separation and robust monoclonal antibody titer quantification during cell line selection or upstream bioprocess optimization and control. The TSKgel Protein A-5PW column is now available for sale in the Americas from Tosoh Bioscience LLC.
The TSKgel Protein A-5PW column is packed with 20 μm hydroxylated methacrylic polymer beads coupled with a recombinant Protein A ligand and can be used with high flow rates for high throughput analysis while still maintaining chromatographic efficiency, peak width and resolution. Monoclonal antibodies from harvested cell culture media can be captured and accurately quantitated in less than 2 minutes. Additionally, the TSKgel Protein A-5PW column demonstrates exceptional column lifetime by allowing more than 2,000 injections without deterioration. The low level of protein A leaching makes this column a good candidate for small scale purification of mAbs for initial characterization.
